In commemoration of the 235th Anniversary of the Battle of Camden, Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site will host its annual Remembrance Day, Saturday, August 15th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Join us as we honor America?s first veterans in their struggle to free themselves and begin a new life as citizens of an independent nation. With something for the whole family, kids will enjoy special activities to include a scavenger hunt, colonial games, and stories about Rev. War heroes. A wreath-laying ceremony at the Camden Battlefield on Flat Rock Road north of Camden. Free guided tours of the reconstructed Kershaw House, light refreshments, and viewings of a documentary on the Battle of Camden will round out the afternoon.
