Discover Kershaw County magazine

Camden Media Co., the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce and the Kershaw County Committee of 100 are joining forces to publish an official annual magazine devoted to the business community in Kershaw County, highlighting what makes Kershaw County such a great place to live, work and play. Discover Kershaw County -- a slick, glossy magazine -- will return in September and be available throughout the year. The publication will include business features and relocation information, to include a directory of Chamber and Committee of 100 members. Specific sections will spotlight business resources, economic development, education and training, and company highlights. Chronicle-Independent Editor Martin L. Cahn will contribute feature articles showcasing what makes Kershaw County and its communities a unique place for prospective residents, businesses and industry.

Discover Kershaw County is published each September and placed at locations throughout the county. The magazine will also be available at the chamber and Kershaw County Economic Development Office, now both located on the Central Carolina Technical College joint campus. The 2019 edition of Discover Kershaw County will also be included in chamber relocation packets distributed to potential individuals and businesses interested in Kershaw County as a new home. It will also be supplied to anyone who asks for additional information about the county through the chamber’s website.

“We are very pleased to join with these two business organizations in publishing this magazine and are confident it will continue to prove to be a huge benefit to the area,” Camden Media Co. Publisher Mike Mischner said. Chamber Executive Director Amy Kinard agreed. “I am very pleased to continue this partnership with Camden Media Co. for the publication of Discover Kershaw County magazine and to include the Committee of 100 in this project,” Kinard said. “Our plans for this year’s magazine are exciting. With the focus on businesses and quality of life, we will continue to produce a high-quality magazine that focuses on what our great county has to offer.”  “The Committee of 100 is thankful for the opportunity to join in partnership with the Chamber and Camden Media Co. on such an exciting project,” stated Lauren Branham Reeder, Kershaw County Economic Development Marketing Manager. “This magazine will provide huge insight to what Kershaw County has to offer existing businesses looking to grow and what our community can successfully provide for prospective companies looking to establish in our area.”
