UofSC offers assistance with talent needs

I received the information below via email. It may feel difficult to think about adding staff or hiring right now but I do encourage you to start planning for your business recovery - which may need to include hiring young, talented individuals.

"As the flagship business school in South Carolina, The Darla Moore School of Business at the UofSC stands ready to assist South Carolina businesses with talent needs during these unprecedented times. Our Office of Career Management can partner with your Chamber Members as they navigate the employee engagement and talent acquisition challenges brought about by this crisis.

1)      Could you benefit from temporary or additional talent? We have direct access to thousands of business students seeking temporary jobs and/or summer internships.

2)      Expect long-term growth following the crisis? If you are poised to grow in the wake of this event we can rapidly and efficiently facilitate access to a pool of students that have been honing their functional skills in accounting, finance, sales, marketing, management, human resources, supply chain, and operations.

3)      Need to create a virtual internship or on-boarding experience? Our staff is working closely with employers around the country who are navigating this challenge. We are available to share our insights and the best practices we have encountered.

4)      Expect a need to recruit virtually in the future? We are partnering with various virtual recruiting platforms and hosting virtual recruiting events with existing partners and can share next practices with you as you consider this long-term recruiting solution.

For help with these or any other talent related challenges, please contact recruit@moore.sc.edu. We are here to help!"
