April 18th. 12thAnnual Food for the Soul Golf Tournament. No Rain Date. The challenging Donald Ross Champion Golf Course provides a perfect day on the links! Captain’s Choice with Shotgun Start at 1:00 p.m. All proceeds benefit Food for the Soul Soup Kitchen and Homeless Shelter.
Food for the Soul is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization with a faith-based Christian mission to provide food, shelter, and hope for those in need in Kershaw County. It depends primarily upon local generosity for funding and in-kind gifts. The shelter serves free lunches to those in need Tuesdays-Fridays through its Outreach Program. $100 per player. $400 team/four. Fee includes box lunch. Mulligans $10 each, $20/3 (max 3 per player).
