Dr. Jonathan Leader, State Archaeologist at the SC Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of South Carolina, led a geophysical survey of Historic Camden in June 2015 with the assistance of field school students from USC. Dr. Leader will present a slide illustrated lecture on what was discovered about the west side of Camden's 18th century town site and share the results of the survey. Held in conjunction with Archaeology Month, This free Lyceum Series lecture is open to the public and will be held in the basement of the Kershaw-Cornwallis House at 3 pm. Light refreshments will follow the lecture.
