Dr. Jonathan Leader, State Archaeologist at the SC Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of South Carolina, led a geophysical survey of Historic Camden in June 2015 with the assistance of field school students from USC. Dr. Leader will present a lecture on what he knows about the west side of the 18th century town site of Camden located Historic Camden and unfold the results of the survey. This free Lyceum Series will be held at the Kershaw-Cornwallis House at 3 pm, with light refreshments to follow.
