The BRIGHT LIFE BIG FINISH 5K committee was established by friends and family members of Amanda Peake Glover in late spring of 2015. Glover, a resident of Lugoff Elgin, SC signed up for the Palmetto Half Marathon in Columbia this past April. Moments after completing the race, she collapsed. On that day, Amanda finished her race here on earth. Amanda lived life loud and bold for her Lord Jesus Christ. A wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, she leaves her husband of 9 years, Benjamin Walker Glover and four beautiful children, Hope Micah Glover, Reagan Faith Glover, Caroline Brooke Glover and Walker Jude Glover. Rather than mourning the loss of Amanda Glover, we want to celebrate it. She ran the race of life, and when she crossed that finish line and passed away she crossed into eternity in heaven. Life is a race and a journey in general, not only in a worldly sense but a spiritual sense. Glover lived life out loud with everything, brightening up every room she walked into. We are certain she is smiling down upon us knowing what we are doing to help provide for her family. The BRIGHT LIFE BIG FINISH committee would like to help provide financial assistance to Glover?s family. Our goal is to help raise money to start up a college fund for each child.
