MEET THE ARTIST ? TERI LEIGH TEED SIGNING HER PRINTS IN CAMDEN SC This Saturday, August 23, 2014 you are cordially invited to meet the artist Teri Leigh Teed for her print signing of "What Is The South" and "Palmetto Dreams" from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm at Palmetto Coffee Shoppe and Tea Room, 1012 Broad Street, Camden SC. "What Is The South" is a poem and song written by Ms. Teed, and is a featured song in her original Home Grown Musical and Storytelling Show "Seasons of the South", which celebrates the natural beauty of the South along with raising awareness for sustainable agriculture. "Palmetto Dreams" is an original, whimsically colorful four-part photographic art design based on one of Ms. Teed's fine art photographs taken at Atalaya along the coast of South Carolina. Along with both of these prints, Ms. Teed has several of her original framed photographic artworks available for purchase at Palmetto Coffee Shoppe & Tea Room. About Teri Leigh:  Teed Teri Leigh Teed is an artist, author, poet, singer/songwriter, musician combining her fine art photography with her stories, poetry and songs. A graduate of Sotheby's Institute, London, Teri received her M.A. Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors from the University of Buckingham, England and was employed by HRH Queen Elizabeth II. Her artwork has been exhibited in juried shows in her home state of South Carolina, including the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. A passionate advocate of animal welfare, environmental protection, and sustainable agriculture, Teri is the author of "Seasons of the South", the Original Home Grown Musical and Storytelling Show celebrating the natural beauty of the South, and dedicated to raising awareness for sustainable agriculture. After purchasing a mandolin as a Christmas present for herself in December 2012, Teri is teaching herself to play the mandolin and has written and performs her original folk/bluegrass songs celebrating the South, including "What is the South", "Take Me Back to Carolina", and the heartwarming tribute to a Civil War family and forgiveness, "Candle for John".
