The Well Armed Woman Kershaw County Chapter? shooting group is a local group of women that meet monthly to practice, learn and grow as shooters. We seek to create opportunities for women to be introduced to issues important to women shooters, learn safe gun handling skills and train together while expanding the world of firearms to women in a safe, non-threatening way with the purpose of Educating, Equipping and Empowering woman shooters. ********* In the October meeting we will be discussing our vision for the chapter and participation in upcoming community holiday events. ********* Ladies may attend one meeting/shoot without joining the chapter. Who should join? Women 21 years or older of all experience levels Women who are just getting started with buying, shooting, and caring for firearms, and want to learn in a comfortable environment Women who have some level of experience and want to advance their skills Women who want to share their knowledge and expertise to help other women Women who want to have some fun and enjoy learning and shooting in the company of other women The meeting fee is $15. This fee covers venue rental, and your range time. Meeting will be held at the American Legion Larry Jeffers Post 195 at 534 Wildwood Lane, Lugoff. We spend the first 1-2 hours at the Legion for our meeting, then spend another 1-2 hours at a private shooting range in Lugoff. For more information, contact sherra@gunsareforchicks.com
